NextBite (“we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users (“user” or “you”). The following Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our mobile application (the “Application”).

If you choose to share data about yourself via your profile, online communication system, or other interactive areas of the Application, please be advised that all data you disclose in these areas is considered public and can be accessed by anyone who accesses the Application.
Derivative Data
Our servers automatically collect information when you access the Application, such as your native actions that are integral to the Application, such as claiming a donation or contacting another use, as well as other interactions within the Application or with other users via server log files.
Geolocation Information
By accessing our Application, you grant us permission to track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using the Application, to provide location-based services that are necessary to interact with our Application. If you wish to change our access or permissions to your geolocation, you may do so in your device’s settings or can stop accessing our Application.
Device Access
We may request access or permission to use certain features on your mobile device, such as sending notifications, accessing the photo gallery, or other features. If you wish to change permission or access, you can do so in your device’s settings.
Push Notifications
We may send you push notifications regarding your account or Application or alerting you of a donation’s status. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these notifications, you can turn them off in your device’s settings.

The Application may contain links to third-party websites and applications of interest that are not affiliated with us. Once you have left the Application via these links, any information you provide is not covered under our Privacy Policy. The Application uses Google Maps APIs to process the geolocation information gathered from you while using the Application. You may find the Google Maps APIs Terms of Service here and Google’s Privacy Policy here. You agree to be bound by their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy when using the Application.
By using our Maps API implementation, you agree to allow us to obtain or cache your location. You may revoke your consent at anytime by discontinuing the use of the Application.
We do not market or solicit information from children under the age of 13. If you become aware of any data that we have collected from children under the age of 13, please contact us using the information provided.
Account Information
At any time you can review or change the information in your account by logging into user account settings and updating the account information.
You can request to terminate your account by using the contact information provided and providing the email and other required information pertaining to the account. We will delete your account from the database, but other information may be retained in our system to prevent fraud or assist with any investigations to enforce our Terms and Conditions.

If you no longer wish to receive communications from us, you can opt out by disallowing notifications to be sent from the Application to your mobile device in your device’s settings.
If you no longer wish to receive correspondence from third parties, you are responsible for contacting the third party directly.

We have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, but there is no guarantee that our security measures are perfect and impenetrable. We cannot guarantee complete security of your information if you provide it, but have implemented various security measures to prevent this from happening.
California residents may request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) that we disclose to third parties that we have shared personal information (if any) with in the immediate preceding calendar year.
If you are under 18 years of age and are a California resident and have registered an account under our Application, you have the right to request removal of your data that you publicly post in our Application. Contact us below with the following email and include the email address associated with your account and a state that you reside in California. We will make sure the data is no longer publicly displayed on our Application, but the data may not be completely removed within the Application’s internal systems.
